Bacon Wrapped Turkey Cordon Bleu

Bacon Wrapped Turkey Cordon Bleu

Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Cook Time: 46 Minutes
Total Time: 66 Minutes
Yield: 6 Serving

Ingredients:
BBQ Sauce:
2 Apples, Peeled and Grated
2 tbsp lemon juice
3/4 Cup BBQ Sauce (Any Original Flavour)

Wrapped Turkey:
18 Slices Bacon, full strip
6 Turkey Scallopini
6 Slices Provolone
6 Slices Black Forest Deli Ham
Salt N' Pepper, to taste

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F
1. In small bowl combine BBQ Sauce with apples and lemon juice. Set aside.
2. Lay out 3 Strips of Bacon with no overlap. Place Turkey Scallopini over Bacon, then add 1 Slice of the Deli Ham and 1 Slice of Provolone.
3. Roll everything together keeping cordon bleu stuffing inside of turkey.
4. Place Turkey Rolls into a glass cooking pan, seam side down, and pour Apple BBQ Sauce over the rolls.
5. Cook for 40 Minutes at the preset 350F temperature.
6. Carefully flip over rolls and BROIL for 3 minutes, then flip once again and continue to broil for an additional 3 minutes. This will crisp up the bacon nicely!

Notes:
This was my first every bacon wrapped anything, and the family loved it! So keep checking for more recipes as I try to be a little more creative in the Kitchen.

I use Turkey for a lot of my cooking instead of Chicken due to allergies within my family, but this recipe will work with either meats.

For alternative flavours switch out the Provolone for Monterey Jack or Havarti. If you want to add a little spice try using a Pepper jack, Jalapeño jack or Habanero jack.
